Guidelines For K-5th grade program

1. Books must be from the Door Creek Church Library.

2. Reading requirements will be in minutes this year. Please help your child keep track of the minutes he/she reads. The total required for Grades K-2 will be 300 minutes (or 50 minutes/week on average). The total requirement for Grades 3-5 will be 360 minutes (or 60 minutes/week on average).

3. The minutes read should be recorded on the appropriate line below.

4. Bring the card to the DCC Library periodically for stickers to be awarded.

5. A car poster will be displayed on the library bulletin board for each participant. For every "landmark" reached on the reading map, a sticker will be added to the poster.

6. Bring the completed card to the library by July 24 to qualify to join us for a celebration party on July 31!

7. Prizes will be awarded to all participants who complete the program.

8. In addition to the regular weekend hours, the library will also be open on Tuesday morning from 9am to 11am from June 14 to July 19.
